Are you new? If not, list your current characters: Dean Winchester

IC Information:
Name: Timothy Jackson Drake (Wayne)
Fandom:  DC Comics
Timeline: After being attacked by the Council of Spiders and just before agreeing to enter an alliance with Ra's al Ghul in RED ROBIN
Age:  (canon is not specific -anywhere between 17-21 so I'm guessing.) 17
Appearance: Tim, ironically similar to the rest of the Wayne family, sports a rather dark & mysterious type of air. Tim has extremely dark brown hair like most the Waynes, which actually appears black more than brown. He also has blue eyes and a rather well built body. He is strong and muscular due to many hours of training a day, however he pales a bit in comparison to Bruce or Dick because of his lean and still youthful features. He bares many scars from years of fighting and training all over his body. Basically, dare it be said, the typical jock physique.

Abilities:
Fighting: Tim has had training in numerous arts by numerous teachers including Bruce Wayne and Lady Shiva.
Ninjustu, Karate, Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu, Bojutsu (taught through Ninjutsu) are some of the forms he knows and his typical style in battle reflects teachings in all areas as well as the styles used by Bruce and Dick. However, he is most prominent and favors staff fighting which serves as his distinguishing mark.

Deductive/Analytical Skills: Much, as stated above, Tim's best assets, and one of the main reasons he was able to find his own place in the Wayne household, are his detective skills. Tim's own deductive skills rival Bruce Waynes, and have earned him compliment from Ra's al Ghul. (This, of course, happening after where I have set Tim's story, but it is relevant to before then as well) Mainly, Tim has the ability to assess a situation and find the weak points, the advantage points, and even some missing factors others would likely over look. This leads to his ability to adapt to situations and plan accordingly. It is this skill, above his fighting capabilities and computer skills, that actually sets him out from the rest of the Robins and gives him a rather high advantage. It is certainly one of the main reasons he is still alive. Basically, in summary of the whole, he's really good at figuring things out and planning. (a good example is when he deduced Batman and Robin were in fact Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson at the age of 9.)

Computer Skills: Like Bruce and Dick, Tim is rather handy with a computer and because of his mind skills sometimes even surpasses them. (keyword: sometimes) Tim can hack major systems in seconds, download and decode and pretty much has a computer figured out from the smallest switch board to the last set of coding numbers. This of course, is just a basic skill one must posses when taking up the mantel of Robin. Tim has also been seen using his computer skills for leisure reasons as well. This skill often gets him out of sticky situations and has helped him numerous times as leader of the Teen Titans and Young Justice. Yet, sometimes it has also gotten him into trouble.

Leadership Skills: Although not as charismatic as Dick Grayson, Tim does possess some leadership skills that keep him rather valuable to a team setting. He is able to mesh well with others and tolerate people in favor of assessing the situation. His detective skills help him understand people and group dynamics better to help gain the advantage. He is also a team player and a good listener.

Other:
He can speak multiple languages and excels in the sciences- having even once tried to recreate the experiment that created super boy. He is also immune to all toxins in the Batcave database.

Personality:
As comic book writer Fabian Nicieza said, "(He has) The intellect and detective skills of Bruce, the ability to lead others and be a friend to others like Dick has and even the ability to make cold, harsh decisions like Jason does."  On first meeting of Tim, he is kind and respectful. He would rather take the time listening and quietly keeping to himself rather than he does blurting things out. However, after warming up, Tim is quick to show he has energy and a voice. While he is able to keep his calm in most situations, he is also not without his own opinions and with that- his own stubbornness. In fact, while Tim is usually lenient and flexible with his views or ideas, it is his stubbornness, when he truly believes something, that makes him abrasive and hard to deal with. He is also not afraid to voice said opinions if need be.

Like Bruce, he maintains a very engineer type personality. He is always calculating and planning ahead. He is able to constantly maintain a level head and prove himself as a serious and hard worker. Also like Bruce, he tries his hardest to not under estimate his opponent. (Although with Damian, it seems to be a problem) He is able to make hard decisions, and act cold/distant when necessary. Sometimes, this appears as him being abrasive or rudely ignorant. He is also always willing to put aside everything for the greater good, and unlike Dick has a harder time of conveying his thoughts. He is however, getting better at it. Also like Bruce, his actions are hardly every made rashly- despite sometimes appearing so. This makes him a bit weak when it comes to quick changes in plan or improvising. Another weakness as Bruce remarked, "(is)He preformed perfectly, My only fear is that he knows it".

Tim is also generally optimistic. While his collected and shyer nature throw off people, he is rather gentle, clumsy, and content. His sense of good humor is a bit lacking, although he tries. Like most of the Wayne family, his luck around women seems a bit impeccable. Tim see's women as equals and as people. So, when sexual lines are crossed, he can be a bit slow to take the bait or even see that it is there. In fact, his bad luck in turning out awkward situations with the opposite gender seems to get him in more trouble then it does any other member of the Wayne family. Still, he is a hopeful and considerate person and he tries to keep himself open to difference or the unknown. As for when the mask comes on, nothing much changes. As robin he was able to take things in a much more innocent light and even keep some sense of humor. After becoming Red Robin, he took the mask much more seriously, to even the point of some concern from Bruce himself. He tries to adopt a cold and emotionless aura, but it is easily broken as Bruce seems to be the only one able to maintain such command. However, Tim has a great and strong will to keep himself going until the end.

History: The introduction of Timothy Drake into the Batman Universe is rather sudden. Bruce, initially rescuing the kid had no intentions of making him, or anyone for that matter, Robin. Born to Jack and Janet Drake, he was raised in the height of wealthy society like Bruce Wayne. Also similar to Bruce, his mother was murdered by a criminal that also managed to cripple Jack Drake. Jack remarried later, however found himself in a lot of trouble with other criminals, most importantly Captain Boomerang. All this drama aside, Tim had loving parents and he was a very smart child. At a young age he had met Richard Grayson during his time at the circus with his own family in the Flying Graysons Trapeze Act. It was this performance that earned him the knowledge to deduce Batman and Robins identities as Bruce Wayne and Dick. He did this at the small age of 9.

Of course he had always been a fan of Batman, and had even followed the progress of the Robins from Dick Grayson to Jason Todd. After Jason Todd's death, Tim felt strongly that Batman needed a Robin. Tim was more then willing to take up the mantel of the person he idealized. He made it his mission to take up the cape, much to Batman's protests and snide remarks. It was the death of his mother that sealed the deal on his initiation into the guise of Robin. He would not be officially adopted into the Wayne family until his father was murdered by Captain Boomerang, which effectively messed up Tim. As Robin, he would find many adventures alongside Nightwing, Batgirl, and of course Batman as well as some solo. He also spent time abroad with his Step-mother, using the time to get over the 'ghosts' of Gotham. (namely the supposed/temporary deaths of his friends)

But it was Bruce Waynes death that sealed his fate in leaving the mantel of Robin behind. Well, more accurately, the belief that Bruce was still alive and Damians arrival as well as Dick's (who has taken up being batman) choice of Damian over Tim that pushed him out.  Most of the family thought him crazy for his belief that Bruce was still very much alive and lost in a time vortex, and some even tried to get him to attend therapy for his grieving. Almost obviously, it backfired and resulted in Tim Drake cutting ties with the batfamily for a long time. It is during this time he decides to travel all over the world and search for Bruces whereabouts. While abroad he found the evidence he needed to continue his tiring search using the help of the League of Assassins. Once again, thins seemed to backfire and this alliance proved to be a strained one that also found him tangled deep with the Council of Spiders. He had just been to talk to Tam Fox, after her own desperate search to find Tim and drag him back to Gotham, when the Council of Spiders attacked...but not after Ra's al Ghul offered him a rather enticing offer to deeper ally himself with the League of Assassins. It also provided a chance for Tim to destroy the league from inside- but before he could really decide on an answer, he found himself badly injured. This is where Tim will be taken from before entering A_Facility.

Roleplay Sample - Log:
Tim grumbled to himself. How on earth had he gotten himself into this? Oh right. Tam. Next time he agreed to bring her on a mission he was going to remind himself of this- that was...if he ever got out. Ever since cutting himself off from the Batcave and regrettably Dick, he'd was having to find his own way around things without alerting them. Successfully he had the spiders after him more than anyone else recently. He pulled off the mesh screen and peered more closely to the glass. Six guys. Six. He recognized a few of the faces, and he was going to assume the rest were new since the only time he would have otherwise seen them is when they were covered in black and blue. Quietly he began to calculate the schematics of the building, while his tiny wrist computer worked to figure out and semi hack the security systems. But these guys weren't average and if he knew them like he thought he did they would have an alarm as soon as-

The siren sounded and Tim looked up. Time was up. Quickly he began to asses how to get below, snag Tam, and make a getaway. Unlike Dick he wasn't good at sudden improvisations with his body movements....but luckily for him, he was a quick thinker. He decided to stay put instead of burst out like normal. He crawled into the air shaft and waited for the guards to make their way into the room the alarm had signaled them too. Tim assessed again. The men didn't appear to be higher members, thus the real Council of Spider members must be close by. If he were Dick he'd have a comment or two about the insult behind that...but he was Bruces pupil, not Dicks...well mostly. And Dick was better at being chatty anyway. He on the other hand, remained quiet..observing the last member make his way into the room. He shoved a smoke bomb through the cracks then turned into the ventilation system to find his way out. Of course turning only found him a new friend.

He found himself, with a foot firmly planted in his jaw, hurling out of the vent and straight into the room with the 6, now incapacitated, men. He pulled himself up quickly...and the men began to grown as the doors swung open, allowing those missing higher members in. Tim extended his pole and held it in front of him in a stance. Plans, tactics, evaluations- all of them flew through his head like a hurricane.

"Well, I've done it now." He was more self chiding.

"Wish I had something more clever to say..." muttering to himself he slowly began to back up to the back window. He turned and looked at it, then gripped the cable gun from his utility belt. He turned- crashing through the window with a small "bye" and shot the cable, swinging from a lower ledge down to the floor and gripping for Tam's ropes.

"It's day's like this I begin to wonder if this was a smart idea or not...." Because right now, he could really use some back up. No, they didn't believe Bruce was alive....No, they took Tim for a grief stricken crazy... But at least he missed the team work. Tim readied himself, Tam standing behind him as he glared at his approaching opponents.

"Not that...I have a choice exactly"

Roleplay Sample - Journal:
((ooc; just going to copy and paste this from the test drive meme. If you want another one, I'll type a new one no problem))

[Tim was sitting on the edge of the table, no mask on as he picked up the communicator. He looked lost and slightly confused, although the act was a bit off. He'd managed to figure some of it out- like kidnap and uh...not alone bit. He also figured if people had seen his face they would know both his identities, but he would play it off as long as he could. So, his cape and mask were stashed safely out of view, and instead Tim Drake (rather than Red Robin) was sporting a blanket.]

Um. Hello? If anyone is receiving this feed, my name is Timothy. I'm assuming this communication device isn't to get in touch with those who kidnapped us? There are more beds here, so that means more people....but first things first...does anyone have any clothes I could borrow?

[not that they would help much- he felt naked without his utility belt...but too much would give too much and so he bit his awkward feeling down for working with the unsettling task at hand.]

This game includes horrible mental and physical torture of your character. After reading the rules/faq for clarification, how do you expect your character to handle this and continue to function?

Tim Drake's past and upbringing have not exactly been pleasant. He deals with severe and intense situations like this all the time, and because of his personality he is ready to treat it like any normal mission. His introverted nature might be tested, but he is generally optimistic and has a strong heart and mind so he will always eventually make it through some how.
